The first CMX Series Amsterdam is taking place on the 26th of June. You will be treated to inspiring speakers and plenty of opportunity to interact with each other and discuss the challenges you face in building your community.
Douglas Atkin, Head of Global Community at Airbnb.
Douglas is an experienced community builder and speaker who now works as the Global Head Community at Airbnb. He’s also the founder of the Glue Project, a blog and venture about social glue, and the author of ‘The Culting of Brands: How to turn customers into true believers’, a book about how to build cult-like community around almost anything. Douglas will speak to the CMX Series Amsterdam attendees via an online connection.
Annick Oosterlee, Community Manager at Schiphol Real Estate.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (also an Ambassador of Amsterdam Sharing City) attracts 45 million passengers a year and employs over 64,000 people, which Schiphol lovingly call its “inhabitants”. The past few years, the airport noticed a change in the way that people work. An increased number of inhabitants showed a need to communicate with like-minded people from other companies in the area. Both on- and offline. To help them out, a community platform was built, aimed at bringing together everyone who works in the Schiphol area www.spotschiphol.nl. Annick Oosterlee, community manager at Spot Schiphol, has been with the platform from the beginning and will talk about the challenges of building an online community that is closely tied to an offline location.
Host: Michel Visser, founder of Konnektid.
As this is the first CMX Series Amsterdam, we want to give you the chance to talk to each other and get to know the other community managers. This will be done in a World Café setting, which is a an easy-to-use method from the Art of Hosting to create a living network of collaborative dialogue around relevant questions and topics.
Tickets are limited so register today through http://cmxhub.com/series/amsterdam-netherland.
See you on the 26th!
